Jeri Castamore

I am presently working with oil stick on wood. I enjoy drawing with paint in a direct way, getting in touch with my thoughts and feelings as I go along - reconciling the past and coping with the present. I prefer it quiet when I paint. I may start out slowly making rounded lines or I might strike the surface in a more assertive way - taking small breaks to look at my work from a distance. I get energized when I paint, hopefully ending up with a successful composition.
